Warranty Terms — Miami Epoxy Pro
1) Our Warranty Promise
Miami Epoxy Pro provides a 10-Year Limited Warranty for floor coating systems installed by our team. If a covered defect occurs due to materials or workmanship, we will repair the affected area in accordance with these terms.
This warranty applies to the original customer at the installation address and begins on the date of substantial completion of the project.
2) What Is Covered
This 10-Year Limited Warranty covers covered defects resulting from verified installation or material failure, including:
- Loss of adhesion / delamination (coating separating from the concrete substrate)
- Peeling or flaking caused by a confirmed workmanship or material defect
- Premature coating failure under normal use that is not caused by an excluded condition (see Section 4)
Miami Epoxy Pro will determine, after inspection, whether the issue qualifies as a covered defect.
3) What We Will Do (Your Remedy)
If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, Miami Epoxy Pro will, at its option:
- Repair the affected area, and/or
- Recoat the affected area using the same or comparable system and materials.
This warranty is limited to the specific affected area. We do not guarantee a perfect color or finish match due to normal aging, UV exposure, wear patterns, or product lot variations.
4) What Is Not Covered (Exclusions)
This Limited Warranty does not cover issues caused by conditions outside our control, including but not limited to:
- Moisture/vapor transmission, hydrostatic pressure, or water intrusion through/under/around the slab
- Concrete movement, cracking, settlement, substrate failure, or structural issues
- Impact, abuse, accidents, gouges/cuts, dragging heavy objects, sharp metal loads, or improper use
- Chemical exposure beyond normal household/commercial use, or spills not promptly cleaned
- UV-related discoloration/yellowing, fading, tire marks, hot-tire pickup (when applicable), staining, or cosmetic changes
- Normal wear and tear, including loss of gloss, minor scratching, surface dulling, or texture changes consistent with traffic
- Improper cleaning/maintenance, including harsh chemicals, acids, degreasers, abrasive pads/tools, or pressure washing misuse
- Work performed by others, alterations, repairs, or modifications not completed by Miami Epoxy Pro
- Acts of nature (flooding, hurricanes, fire), or extreme environmental events/conditions.
5) Owner Responsibilities (Care & Maintenance)
To keep your warranty valid, you agree to:
- Follow our Care & Maintenance Guidelines (provided after installation)
- Keep the surface reasonably clean and remove spills promptly
- Use protective pads/mats where appropriate and avoid dragging heavy items.
6) How to Request Warranty Service
If you believe you have a warranty issue, please contact us in writing as soon as possible and include photos and your project address.

7) Transferability
Unless stated otherwise in writing, this Limited Warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original customer.
8) Limitations of Liability
This Limited Warranty is the exclusive remedy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Miami Epoxy Pro is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of use. Our obligation is limited to the repair/recoat described above.
9) Entire Agreement
These Warranty Terms, together with your written estimate/invoice, represent the complete warranty agreement for your project.
